MSC Seascape Coming to Galveston in 2025

Galveston is gearing up for a major addition to its cruise offerings with the construction of Cruise Terminal 16, a state-of-the-art facility expected to cost over $150 million. This new terminal will primarily serve MSC Cruises, marking the cruise line’s exciting debut in Galveston.

Once operations begin, MSC Cruises plans to homeport the MSC Seascape in Galveston year-round. The terminal, projected to open in November 2025, will span approximately 165,000 square feet and include a brand-new parking garage, further expanding the already extensive parking options in the area.  

Renderings of the terminal showcase a spacious, modern design with expansive embarkation and disembarkation areas designed to efficiently accommodate large crowds. The sleek, contemporary aesthetic promises to enhance the overall cruise experience for travelers sailing from Galveston.
